Frequently asked questions

Immediately after enrolling, you will receive an e-mail from us confirming your enrolment. This confirmation e-mail completes and confirms your enrolment. We will then reserve a place for you. If you haven’t received a confirmation message after enrolling, please feel free to contact us at academy@groups.be. 

A few days before the course, we’ll send you a reminder with all the practical information.

Catalogue courses may be cancelled at least fifteen (15) working days before the course date just by sending an e-mail to academy@groups.be

If you cancel your enrolment less than 15 calendar working days before the start of the course, you will be invoiced for the full cost.

Any course may be deferred or cancelled by sending a medical certificate to Academy@groups.be within a maximum of 5 working days. If you are unable to take part, you are free to find a replacement for yourself.

In the event of exceptional and unforeseen circumstances or insufficient numbers enrolled, GROUP S may, on an exceptional basis, cancel or postpone a course to a later date or change the venue. In such a case, the Client will be contacted as soon as possible by e-mail at the address given at the time of enrolment and will have the option of cancelling, free of charge, within 5 working days of receiving the information.

If your course is delivered online, you will receive a link by e-mail to access Microsoft Teams. We recommend that you install the app either on Windows or Mac OS. A stable internet connection is required. The link to the online course will be sent to you no later than one day before the course starts.

The price of the course is always indicated on the web page (price excluding VAT).

This price includes any catering and documentation costs. 

The invoice will be sent by e-mail to the address given at the time of enrolment.

  • Case 1: For a one-off training course, the invoice will be issued after the service has been provided. 
  • Case 2: For a series of courses on successive dates, the invoice will be issued after the first course and will cover payment for the entire series

Please make your payment as soon as you receive the invoice and no later than 30 days after the course. 

If you are entitled to special discounts, these will be deducted from the invoice.

For full training days, we provide lunch at noon.

We always provide our teaching materials in digital format after the course. You may only use the training material provided for personal purposes and may not distribute it to third parties. 

What do I do on a course lasting several days?

If you wish to obtain your certificate of attendance, you must attend the entire duration of the course for which you are enrolled and inform us in advance via our e-mail address: academy@groups.be

If you are unable to attend one or more days, the missed module can only be rescheduled if you notify us before the start of that day of the course and provide us with a medical certificate.

The certificate of attendance will, however, be provided automatically if you wish to use the KMO-portefeuille, the Flemish support fund.
